Event Coordinator Job Description

The Part Time Event Coordinator/Office Support role is responsible for providing administrate support to the president to ensure efficient planning and execution of Saint Pio Foundation events. This includes, but is not limited to facilitating communication, scheduling meetings, supply ordering, hosting onsite/offsite Foundation events, and arranging Foundation event catering. This part time volunteer position may require a fluctuating schedule to accommodate Foundation events.


  • Support the general administrative needs in support of the Saint Pio Foundation management
  • Orders and coordinates delivery of office supplies and other items
  • Communicating status of orders and ensuring accurate delivery of supplies
  • Facilitates the preparation, set-up, and take-down of Foundation events and catered meals
  • Ensure Foundation events and facilities issues are communicated clearly and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in processing all incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis
  • Performs routine clerical work, including but not limited to scanning, copying, and filing documents as well as sending and receiving faxes
  • Assist in receiving, screening, and directing phone calls
  • Attends event meetings as required
  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

  • Must be comfortable with part-time volunteer hours on a long term basis
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year of administrative, event planning experience
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high pressure situations
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Self-motivated and very organized
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities and assignments

Social Media Coordinator Job Description

The Saint Pio Foundation is looking for a skilled volunteer Social Media Coordinator to join our staff. The Social Media Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be assisting with social media strategy. He or she will be tasked with managing the social media reputation of the Foundation on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze and understand social media data and to use his or her insights to improve content decisions made by management.


  • Serve as a social media expert, staying on top of current social media trends to ensure the Foundation’s content efforts are cutting-edge.
  • Knowledge of current secular and religious news events.
  • Assist president and other staff members with the development of social media content by delivering consultations, evaluations, recommendations, and training on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media channels.
  • Track and report social media analytics for the Foundation and prepare reports for the Foundation’s management.
  • Conduct market research and collect data on social trends.
  • Assists with internal project management and social media content tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in social media.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills.

  • Ability to spot trends in social media and readiness to assist in the evolution of our strategies.

Spanish Translator Job Description

The Spanish Translator role is responsible for translating documents from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English. The documents, speeches, newsletters, and web content are the Saint Pio Foundation’s communication tools, so the Spanish Translator holds a key position in preserving and promulgating the public reputation of the Saint Pio Foundation.


  • Translate documents from English to Spanish for newsletters, speeches, and letters
  • Translate received Spanish correspondence to English
  • Deliver on commitments within the agreed upon timeline with accuracy and quality
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Develop communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) appropriate to the audience and situation
  • Maintain confidentiality

Required Qualifications

  • Language proficiency will be tested. An appropriate proficiency level will be required for writing and speaking both English and Spanish.
  • Translation experience is required.
  • Proficiency with translation software is desired.

Additional Information

This volunteer position involves the production of Spanish language equivalents of English documents. The Spanish content must be refined, grammatically correct, idiomatically expressed without using slang or other vernacular, and culturally sensitive. Applicants should be able to research, evaluate, and recommend translation terminology. Applicants should also be able to understand content management and rendering in web environments.
