The Saint Pio Chapel is found within Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in the Diocese of Salina, located at 701 E Court St, Beloit, KS 67420, and was officially recognized on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the closing of a special mass dedicated to Saint Pio, celebrated by The Most Reverend Gerald Lee Vincke, Bishop of the Diocese of Salina.
The chapel is the first of a series of chapels to be established by the Saint Pio Foundation, which granted the first-class relic to the parish.
At the core of this initiative is that to offer the opportunity to pray in the presence of the relics of Saint Pio to as many faithful as possible, without having to travel too far.
In doing so, the Foundation’s visit in is that of fulfilling Saint Pio’s own desire when he said, “I am everyone's everything. Each of you can say: “Padre Pio is mine!”
The Saint Pio Chapel is a place of worship, where all are invited to pray before the relic of Saint Pio, to ask for his intercession for your journeys and spiritual needs.
